While Alcurex.org is one of the most reliable and fun exchanges to trade on, the bter.com exchange does offer some new options for international traders that want to get a taste of the Yuan.
Recently getting onto Bter.com to take advantage of some of the IFC/LTC spreads that were going down, we found that Bter.com is a fun place to play the spreads between the Yuan, BTC, and LTC, and offers a truly international option for traders looking to diversify their accounts. Some of the drawbacks on the bter.com exchange are that cycling currencies wasn’t really an option since the only active wallets were LTC, BTC, and Fiat, so any options of buying IFC low, then moving it to Yaunhuaboi or Poloniex were diminished, and it wasn’t until trading a few million coins that we realized that the wallets were limited to the BTC, LTC, and Fiats, so the cross-exchange options that some traders try and make gains on were not available.
If they were, the Bter.com exchange would have been much more enjoyable, but for the present, they are actually very thorough, and once you get used to the platform, trading can be fun and engaging, and offers all the functionality that both beginner and advanced traders can enjoy. Even though the wallet functionality is limited, it is still an exchange that offers a unique twist on international trading because it gives Euro and Western traders an option to trade the Yuan and develop their skills on those metrics.
Traders also have the option of voting on coins that they find the most enjoyable, and up-votes and down-votes can be made to test the popularity of the coins.
