Has anyone seen the coin with a blue squirrel on it? That, my friends is NEU Coin. After being annoyed by the blue squirrel, I decided to look at their website and see what they are all about. It turns out that the goals of the coin is similar to Fedora (TIPS) and is designed for micropayments rather than large sums, but who knows, maybe the coin will be worth something.
NEUCOIN uses an interesting marketing approach by integrating itself into apps and Jango, a music platform where listeners can contribute to the artists by tipping them NEUcoin. The other method is via facebook where they have deployed an app called Solitaire Racer, where players can earn a Neucoin if they complete the deck!
