Monero, one of the long-time top-standing Altcoins made some strong gains overnight, moving up by over $40 to $80, officially experiencing a double-up in price.
Monero has been around for years now, and has been one of the top volume coins on Poloniex, and recently experienced over $200 Million in trade volume during the recent bull run.
It seems like Monero is one of the more expensive coins, and most likely reserved for blue chip traders who have lots of money.
Ether also made some strong gains over the weekend trades, pushing the price to $330 USD, where it continues to achieve high volume.
